Introduction Thread?

Postby Aaron Hibbert on Thu Apr 24, 2008 5:23 pm

Hi, I'm Aaron. But I guess there's already another Aaron here. I live in Massachusetts, and my band Marx Revolution is out of Connecticut. I book shows in Western Mass and CT, but I'm starting to build a network of promoters throughout new england and new york so we can hook touring bands up all over the northeast.

Community Records is an awesome concept, and I can't wait to watch it grow. If there's any way I can contribute, let me know. I'd love to.

Now who are all of you?

Hello AARONS!

I'm Gerg.

I mean Greg

If you google my name, this is the first image that comes up:

So apparently, that's what I look like,
I run the site/label and I started it, I have had lots of help along the way, and any help I or any of the bands can get is great.

The best thing for now is just telling people it exists.

I am about to graduate from college in New Orleans, and then after that my band Fatter Than Albert will be touring, then recording for a bit, then after that I will be doing this to the best of my ability while a get a job to help pay (my hopefully minimal) bills.

I like books, movies, people who don't lie, skating, sleeping, drinking water, eating pizza, and talking about philosophical ideas, I also like people in general. GO TEAM HUMANS!

I'm tired.
Sleep soon, me will.

Lafayette. :D

Not much to say, except I joined this here forum to keep up with all of the bands on Community Records. I also enjoy helping out Greg the best I can.

I'm trying to get a band together this summer, hopefully all goes well. I think I want a Uke in said ska band, I think it could sound killer.

My name is Jay. College grad. City employee. Washed up musician.

I used to play guitar in a band called Public Access in Albany NY. I made a lot of great friends in my time in the band, including one Greg Rodrigue. Greg helped us put together a pretty cool release for our last album and I'm really proud that we were able to help kick-start this awesome record label.

Now that I'm band-less and bored, I hope to contribute as much to
Community Records as I can. I'll be booking shows, stuffing envelopes and generally spreading the word wherever possible.
This is the greatest group of bands/people on the planet and I'm happy to be part of it.

Well... names Ian. From New Orleans and I'm at all the shows.

I guess I joined up to help out Greg and such. I'm all about music and spreading the love. Not in a band though I'm gettin better at bass. Music is still my passion in life.

Strange that the first people that join are from Mass.
Anyway thats it
